Join Us at Biketoberfest!

Sep 20th 2016

As an industry leader in custom motorcycle wheels and exhaust systems, RC Components believes in providing the best quality products for every biker, so they can get the best performance from their ride. Our dedicated team loves to attend rallies to help riders improve their bikes. At our most recent rally, we set up shop at Sturgis, installing new exhaust systems and helping riders breathe new life into their bike’s appearance. If you missed us at Sturgis, you’ll be able to catch us at the 24th annual Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach this October 13!

What can you expect at the rally?

Every year, Daytona Beach fills up with bikers from all corners of the country. Once there, you’ll be able to take in the sights, sounds and, of course, participate on group rides down the coast of Florida. After visiting our booth, you’ll be able to cruise the coast in style with new custom motorcycle wheels!

Where can you ride?

While biking through Daytona will give beautiful ocean views, it can be crowded. Escape the crowds with these rides:

  • Ponce Inlet: The ride from Daytona to Ponce Inlet is a 12 mile ride down the coast. To get the most spectacular views, head south down S. Atlantic Avenue, which parallels the ocean. If you’re accustomed to riding scenic mountain passes in landlocked states, the ocean breeze will be particularly refreshing. This ride is one of our favorite early-morning jaunts as you’ll catch the sunrise over the water if you head out early enough.
  • Edgewater Loop: For a tree-lined ride, consider heading out on the Edgewater Loop. The route follows small backcountry highways, taking you through scenic towns and large groves of live oaks. From Daytona, head south on Tamoka Farms Road/State Route 415 South for 24 miles. Turn Left onto Florida Avenue/Osteen Maytown Road and follow for another 21 miles. Stop for lunch in Edgewater and take North Dixie Freeway back into Daytona, passing through Spruce Creek Park.
  • The Loop: The Loop is the most popular ride during Biketoberfest, and if you’re looking for a group to join, you’ll be able to find one! This path begins at the base of Granada Bridge and heads north through groves of live oaks. Following the Intracoastal Waterway, riders will have the opportunity to stop at scenic lookouts along the journey. Though the route is busy, the ride is recommended as a leisure cruise and is best suited to riders looking for a scenic getaway.

Take advantage of the beautiful fall weather in Daytona Beach and join us at Biketoberfest this October! Order your new motorcycle wheels and have them installed by the experts at RC Components while you’re at the rally!
