A Bit About Victory Cycles
Aug 2nd 2016
While you’re probably familiar with large brand names like Harley, Honda, and Yamaha, RC Components also carries wheels and accessories for other brand bikes. One of our favorite brands is Victory Motorcycles. Since they’re relatively new to the game and still an up-and-coming company, many people are less familiar with their bikes and their brand. Today, we’ll share a bit of the history behind Victory Motorcycles.
When Did They Start?
Victory Motorcycles was started in 1998 by Polaris Industries. While Polaris typically focuses on powersports, including snowmobiles, ATVs, and other outdoor off-road equipment, Victory allowed them to expand into the motorcycle industry.
What Do They Produce?
Combined with their parent company’s passion for all terrain vehicles, Victory Motorcycles has produced a line of high-quality V-Twin cruiser and touring bikes. They continue to improve their design and their technology, keeping up with more prominent brands in the industry.
Adaptability
Victory has settled into a niche in the industry, offering bikes with shorter standover heights and more compact controls, making them suitable for smaller riders. This, in turn, has helped more women take to the road on two wheels. Their classic style and modern technology offers a blend of performance and looks that rivals more well-established companies.
